We are Americans.  Either born in this wonderful land or adopted by it, we all should be proud to live in the greatest country on earth.  This the "Land of the Free," and we truly are the "Home of the Brave" when threatened by adversity, crisis, or catastrophe.

In our lifetimes it appears we will be encountering some of the most serious challenges this country has ever faced.  Islamic terrorists seek our destruction.  Pandemic diseases incubate in the shadows, ready to spread across the world and through our population.  And from within, our two major political parties are working hand-in-hand with megacorporations to quietly lead us into a "New World Order."  John Christian Ryter mentioned last month that the "Bush Administration and the Fed bankers" are working toward "their globalist aspirations of creating a seamlessly consolidated world economy."

Nevertheless I have faith that our predominantly Christian society will do the right thing when confronted with momentous decisions.  We will not be conquered economically, politically, psychologically, or militarily, and the USA will remain a sovereign nation forever.

Our government has many problems, but our Constitution has endured for well over 200 years.  As long as "We the People" do not allow our politicians and Supreme Court to adulterate or misinterpret it, we are sure to endure indefinitely.

When things appear bleak in our country, just remember that people all over the world would give up everything to take your place.  Families in Darfur have heard about the "Land of Opportunity."  Russians are beginning to feel the Stalin-like fist of Putin, and Venezuelans are required to love their dictator.  Human rights are meaningless in great regions of China, Asia, Africa, and South America

Count your blessings, Americans.
